The prices you see on the chart are a historical feed of the last price, and you’ll usually see a data window on the side of the chart that gives you information like the bid and offer prices. Level 1 quotes are the most common types of quotes that traders deal with. The vast majority of traders will only ever have access to level 1 and 2 quotes. This is a very expensive feed that is only available to broker-dealers.
